Kate Hudson and Demi Lovato

Plus, I got to concept some super cute slogan T-shirts with mantras I love and like to live by, like "Be Confident" and "Unbroken.' We have more to come in August and I'm excited to keep learning". Demi Lovato, left, and Kate Hudson arrive at the launch of Demi Lovato and Fabletics Collaboration Collection on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

For more on Demi Lovato and her new Fabletics capsule collection, pick up the new issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands everywhere Friday. Demi Lovato has said she feels the "most confident" when she's working out at the gym, as she finds the process "therapeutic". "It was ideal", said Hudson, 38.

"Kate and I actually met in the gym, which is kind of ironic, and we just had a great connection and she fortunately thought about me for Fabletics", Demi recalls.

Still, Lovato - who a source says recently split from MMA fighter Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos - knows that her sobriety, health and positive body image require work.

"It's come forward through the confidence that you get when you wear the clothing and the cuts are great, the compression in the trousers are great". The "No Promise" singer further explained that she tries to clear her head by boxing, kickboxing or training in mixed martial arts such as Muay Thai and jiu-jitsu. It's important to feel comfortable in what you're wearing. A long, hot-pink tank top is emblazoned with "CONFIDENT" in capital letters at the bottom.

"Working together ever since has been so much fun she's such a great person and she's so smart and intelligent". Well, she looks as if she's always one blunt away from some very impulsive decisions.

The athletic brand offers collections in sizes ranging from XXS to 3XL.
