Google Photos will use machine learning to select photos and suggest which of your friends or family to send them to and ask to add their photos from the wedding, party, or whatever event you were all at.

Google is adding some novel features to its Photos service, including reminders to share pictures with friends and family featured in those photos.

Basically, Google's artificial intelligence is so smart now that it knows who you may want to share your photos with - even if that person isn't in the picture.

Suggested Sharing will be rolling out soon to Android, iOS and the Web.

With the suggested sharing feature, you will get new sharing suggestions without much effort. When someone shares a library with you, you can automatically save the photos in yours so that they will also show up when you search for something.

The final addition to Google Photos is Google Lens integration.

All of the newly announced features build on the machine learning features at the core of Google Photos.

Google is in the business of you. Google Photos is extending its AI-powered facial recognition capabilities, which have existed in the app for long, to ease the sharing of images/videos at just the tap of a button.

The sharing suggestions, however, are so in tune with how I use Google Photos now that I wonder whether the company made them just for my benefit. The other person can have complete access to an entire library or just photos or certain people or from a particular date. Google Photos will notify contacts when new photos from shared libraries contacts are backed up in their library. Each photo album will cost $9.99.

Following news of Google Lens, which allows your camera to identify objects or places, it announces a function to remove unwanted objects from photos. No more hunting for that printing shop or the ideal printer as Google will itself make the books available to you. They're attractive, high quality, with a clean and modern design.

For those who prefer physical photos, there's the Photo Books option, which can turn your digital images into real picture albums.

The feature is rolling out today for those living in the United States, and is now limited to the Web only. iOS and Android users will see the feature roll out to them starting next week. You can, of course, edit the final product before clicking print and getting a softcover book from $9.99 United States dollars or hardcover from $19.99 for a hardcover.
