The Apple has recently announced the release of their new mobile operating system.

When Apple released iOS 10.1 in October 2016, users trying to open a 32-bit app on an updated device would receive a warning message telling them that it may slow down their iPhone. More so because they are too long to type and mistyping the password is a common error. However, with this update, Apple has also decided not to support older apps. And if you're not a developer, Apple also has something called the public iOS Beta Program, and if you own an Apple device that supports the new iOS, you qualify for a preview.

iOS 11 introduces a new feature that anyone that has managed to fill up their iPhone's storage will be able to appreciate.

Apple is set to introduce a new iPhone feature created to prevent distracted driving by blocking notifications while owners of such phones are behind the wheel.

Another cool feature of iOS 11 is the Apple Pencil, which you can use to draw on your iPad, take screenshots, sign and takes notes in your handwriting.

Apps can be viewed side by side without having to close or toggle between them.

Nonetheless, there is a way to drag and drop between different apps but at this point, we're not sure if it is an intentional feature or a bug.

iPhone photos will have "new professional-quality filters" with "the same quality as before, at half the file size". You can even use the multi-touch display to move things around. However, if you are here to discover more about the firmware, before upgrading, here are the compatible devices.

The QuickType keyboard will have letters, symbols, punctuation marks and numbers on the same keyboard to eliminate toggling between keyboards.

The first iPhone 5 went on sale almost five years ago and was the last Apple smartphone to be overseen by Steve Jobs.

If approved, the password is sent to the connecting device and autopopulated without either user having to type a single character.
