Goals from Antonio Valencia, Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku handed the Red Devils a comfortable 3-0 victory.

The former Aston Villa and Norwich manager would have taken heart from the performance in the first half where the visitors created multiple chances but either spurned them or were denied by David de Gea, who was keeping his 13th clean sheet of the season.

Bauer, Martins Indi, Tymon, Fletcher, Shaqiri, Choupo-Moting and Crouch all make the starting XI.

United face Stoke City with Mourinho admitting that Premier League leaders Manchester City are in the comfort zone following a 22-game unbeaten start to their title challenge.

After opening his campaign with Manchester United on a rampage - scoring 11 in his first 10 appearances, the Belgian has had it rough in front of goal since then - scoring 5 in the next 21.

After bossing the early exchanges, United took the lead in the ninth minute as Valencia cuts in onto his left and curled the ball into the top right corner.

Lukaku finished the game off 20 minutes before the end.

"The clearest sign that something's happening with Sanchez is that Mkhitaryan isn't playing, that he's not in the squad and Jose was happy to volunteer that information to us", Neville told Monday Night Football.

Stoke, which has been in the top flight since 2008, is in third-to-last place after 23 games. However, the Cameroonian's shot was blocked by Phil Jones.

Continuing into the second half, Pogba picked out Martial a second time with a reverse pass in-between three Stoke defenders and only a slight mis-control from the forward allowed goalkeeper Jack Butland to pounce on the ball.

Pogba was deservingly awarded as the man of the match for his scintillating display in the home outing.

Kurt Zouma nearly gifted United a third soon after half-time, passing the ball to Pogba, whose feed through to Martial was only just snuffed out by Potters goalkeeper Jack Butland storming off his line. Lukaku showed enough power to hold off his marker and shoot into the bottom corner after good work from Martial.

While De Bruyne has had people swooning over the type of assists he has provided, and they have been magical at times, for Pogba to have matched his tally in almost half the amount of games is incredible.
