Winter Storm Warning covers Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha until noon Tuesday.

Alabama may have yet another chance to see snow in the next few days.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for Red River Co., TX, McCurtain Co., OK, Sevier CO., OK and Howard CO., OK.

THE DEEP FREEZE RETURNS: I'm concerned about risky wind chills, possibly as low as -5°F Wednesday morning.

Abundant sunshine on Monday will give way to snow on Tuesday across the region.

"Due to the very cold temperatures, just light accumulations of this wintry precipitation will cause hazardous and hard travel condition", the weather service said in its Sunday statement. Snow will begin to accumulate and travel impacts begin. The accumulation looks to lessen the farther south you go though according to the latest computer models.

Scattered showers will start developing across Central Texas starting Monday afternoon.

"It's going to get pretty cold pretty quickly behind this front", Hargrove said.

Snow is expected to taper off Monday night. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. This is in addition to the snow that fell Sunday morning. All rain is to the north of I-70 this evening, but it will continue to move to the south tonight.

Significant ice accumulations are not expected at this time. Rain will mix with and change over to freezing rain early Tuesday morning. Anyone traveling from the south or east to Fort Worth Tuesday can expect slippery, unsafe roads. Slick roads can be expected.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said some crews had been out over the weekend treating roads, and more would come online between midnight and 3 a.m.to prepare for the morning commute.

Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday, temperatures are expected to warm significantly.

The latest run of FutureTrack keeps most places well below freezing Tuesday afternoon.

Snow levels will lower rapidly with this storm, dropping from below 7,000 feet to around 4000 feet Thursday night and hovering between 3,000 and 4,000 feet on Friday.

The highs on Tuesday will be in the mid-teens. Unprotected pipes could burst.
